Fun Fact- The project was almost called "The Moil" as the most underappreciated bit of glass on the glassmaker's rod or pipe, it is the support structure, heat retainer, stabilizer and your best friend in the hot shop and became a short-term favorite in the naming process. We can all right now need a good stabilizer, and support structure, but then Das Fernglas made the cut. As it happens, I like to look ahead to the future and see everything to come in the distance. Meanwhile Das Fernglas will help us keep close contact with each others work as we continue to look at the world from distance.
