Description:
Glass in its malleable state is too hot to be touched. Tools function as a translator of movement. Frustrated and fascinated by this distance I can connect it to my experience of speaking a foreign language. Language as a tools for communication, for shaping my environment often fails to provide me with the complete experience as I try to find the right word, the right tool to create the visual reference I want. Overcoming the burden of a tool I use the material as a poetical study to form the hot material directly, resulting in shapes that can only be created by hand.
