Glass and plastic objects, ploarising filters, lightboxes, polarizing glasses,
video ( duration: 01:14 min )
Stress in glass is an unwelcome phenomenon; it makes the glass crack or even explodes. This tension can be made visible through light and polarizing filters.
I used an, in the glass industry common known technique to check glass items for stress, for an artistic exploration.
Instead of avoiding stress I have been trying to control the tension to create patterns.
Opening for our eyes a different invisible world, where color and light become shape and material just the carrier of an experience.
